    ill try find a link, something else i remembered btw is that the french
    said they were scared of gerrards ability before the game and although him
    and parker were too deep for nasris goal they both were superb and really
    helped the back four throughout the whole game. Let me put it to you like
    this. MC had a better season but has been fighting for the title and
    playing with scholes, gerrards been alongside spearing fighting for the
    carling cup. MC has had more to fight for with better players

    years ago, and Carrick was not, but this year Carrick has been better then
    Gerrard, ask anyone about that and they will say Carrick(except poolfans).
    Carrick had a 90%succesfull pass rate, only Yaya Toure could match it. He
    also had the most succesfull longpasses, which makes your statement that he
    only passes 5 yard passes false. If you seriously mean Gerrard is better
    then Carrick this year, you’re the one blinded.

    5 yard pass?? When was the last time Gerrard scored a longshot? Gerrard is
    filthy diver and not a ”legend”. He has never, and never will win the
    premier league. And it’s odd how all proffesional football players from
    England said that Carrick was the best english midfielder. And im not
    talking about THIS YEAR, not the past decade, then it’s Scholes, who is one
    of the greatest players of all time. But this year Carrick has been much
    better then Gerrard and Lampard(Wilshere hasn’t played).

    ive only ever heard manc fans say that carrick is good and your the first
    person ive ever heard say that carrick is the best english midfielder. He
    can pass the ball 5 yards and thats it. He will never ever be anywhere near
    the level of gerrard. The best english midfielders are scholes, gerrard,
    lampard, parker and wilshere. Carrick is nowhere near the level of any of
    them. You’re an idiot to think otherwise. Most united fans dont even rate
    carrick, hes overrated. Decent player but thats it.

    i did a little poll on a united fan facebook group asking who theyd prefer
    out of gerrard and carrick, 2 something voted for carrick and over 20 000
    voted for gerrard. I then asked who had been better this year and mostsaid
    thatgerrard had been playing in a bad team whereas carrick had been carried
    by the better players. Also most of the england squad named gerrard as one
    of the most vital players of the squad. I was abit hard on carrick but my
    investigation shows gerrard is better

    been excellent, best english midfielder still. Gerrard, Parker, Wilshere
    midfield is the perfect english midfield
